When re-installing my newly machined and lightened flywheel do you put any
grease or lube on the engine side? Rust specks showed up overnight which I
cleaned off. Clutch side must be clean and dry. I'll grease the shaft and
bushing.
My ring gear was well worn in 1 or 2 spots so we heated on a new one. Wonder
if my high torque gear reduction starter is harder on the ring gear? No grease
on this interface, right?
I brought in the special ARP flywheel bolt, lockwasher and thread dressing
set. They provide detailed instructions. These guys have science.
