        Cary:

The ghetto engineering alternative is what I used; pull the
plugs and spin the starter until the oil pressure registers on the oil
gauge. It took about 10 seconds, but seemed more like 100.
This only works if the various parts were well lubricated during
assembly.

Subject: Priming Oil Pump

I just received my GP2 cam from Richard Good, and in the installation
instructions it says to drive the oil pump with an electric drill to
prime
the oiling system prior to start up. I remember seeing a write up about

this before but I can't find it anywhere. Can anyone elaborate on this
process?
Thanks,
Cary
