I installed an A type OD tranny into my TR250 this weekend. I have a couple
of questions. The ID is CT61222. I assume this is from a TR4. Can anyone
confirm this? When I wired it up there are only two of the sensors on top
for 2 and 3rd/4th gears. Nothing for reverse. Did the TR4 have some other
type of switch for reverse? I assume this easiest fix for this is to
drill/tap the top in the correct place and install the sensor and wiring
from the original tranny. Lastly, the angle drive for the speedo sticks out
over the lip that the tranny cover mounts to. Are their multiple angle
drives? Any ideas as to why it sticks out? Thanks for any help!!
