We even tested at the back of the alternator and it only shows 12 volts (?)=

 This suggests that if you measure the resistance between the alternator ou=
tput terminal and the battery positive it would read a very low resistance.=
=C2=A0 About the same as when you touch the meter leads together.=C2=A0 Thi=
s will verify that the connection to the battery is good.=C2=A0 The fact th=
at the voltage at the alternator is 12 volts means the alternator isn't pro=
ducing.
What other possible fault could there be?=C2=A0 A bad ground?=C2=A0 But if =
the alternator wasn't grounded the light wouldn't behave properly.
It's tough troubleshooting something via this medium.

ects to the power tap on the positive battery positive cable with a 3/8 QC =
