I have Alpine VIN B395004498.  My is titled (tag receipt) as a 1967.  Most
Alpines were probably titled as whatever model year was current when they
were sold, not necessarily when they were manufactured.

Chris,
Your car was built during the week of 8/15-8/19 1966. There were 313
SV's built during that week between serial numbers B395009280 &
B395009592. It's common to buy these cars titled as a later year. It was
probably sold in 1967 and titled as such. - Ian
