I have a sunbeam alpine. I was told that it was a 1967series 5 .
My vin # is B 395009343 and there were 19122 series 5's manufactured between
Sept/65 and Jan/68 that is about 660 cars per month in the 29 months of
production.
This puts my cars month of manufacture as Nov/66.
that assumes that the first month of manufacture was Sept/65 and the last
month was Jan/68 and there were almost 660 units produced in each month.
perhaps a stretch, but it's the math. so do I own a "66" OR A "67"?
MANUFACTURED IN "66" sold as a "67" model? these days they manufacture the
2002 model in Y2K! so a left over is really a left over.
