IF you'd like to fix the problem, it's really easy: The BIG spring loaded
piston on the back end of the unit is sticking. Why? When I rebuilt mine,
the kit provided a piece of rubber that tucked under the leather band that
runs on the outside of that canister piston. That rubber is too thick!! I
learned this the hard way!! Anyway, if you slice that rubber in half, stuff
it back under that leather band, lube the leather band, and re-install,
it'll work fine! About a one hour job.
