Rick McLeod is a superb choice.
I remember when Rick first started selling parts out of his ground cellar
under his front porch. You could say he had an underground operation. He was
above reproach though in all that he did except his fetish for huckstering
recycled Mavericks. Already being in business at that time I could have
considered
Rick a competitor. Instead we formed a long lasting business relationship based
on trust. The same trust enjoyed by his customers where he would send parts
without payment. But he had to end when he was taken advantage of by customers
who did not reciprocate that trust.
Rick has always strived for the highest standard possible for repro parts. He
has sourced more OEM and repro BEAM parts than any business or person.
His pragmatic free spirited nonjudgmental humorous selfless persona endears
one to him causing a loyal following of Beam owners. The Beam community needs
to pay homage to this legend in his own time.
