Howdy all.

I've got a hankering to build a prepared car and apparently the cheapest
route would probably be to build an AP 1st gen. RX-7.

I could build a small block chebbie in my sleep but I know very little
about the Wankel rotary motors and what makes them tick. Are there any
good resources out there that tell how to rebuild, tune and hotrod one
of these noisy little wonders? How about building the rest of the car?
Any resources there?

And another question; Is there any such thing as a muffler that's
capable of actually muffling a Prepared rotary motor? I love the cars
but I can't stand their most obnoxious exhaust pulse and volume of
noise. Wierd, huh? Heck, if I owned a Harley the first things I would
do is put on a new ignition system that actually works and makes the
bike run right and a decent muffler. I love the bikes but hate the
noise and the way they (don't) idle.

See you on course.
