In follow-up, and to address the rest of your letter, I am running
the stock fuel injection from a 1993 Olds W-41 Q4 (the stock 195hp
version), including it's throttle body and plenum.

Adding another 190lbs to gain a mere 12 - 15hp would not be too awfully
productive, IMHO - - that is why I choose not to go aftermarket. But as
far as the carb vs FI - - interesting point. Haven't ever been protested,
probably because the combo is not competitive enuff to worry about in
AP.

And that is what this thread is all about.

But I COULD gain some low end torque with dual Webers, with air
cleaner sticking out the rear trunk (legal - at least this year!!) to get
cold, fresh, ram air effect. HMMM. Naw - the carb hassles aren't worth it.

Of course, my original letter also spoke to the total apathy in Prepared.
Haven't seen any other A Prepared drivers with an opinion - ANY opinion -
have you? They don't do or say much, except bitch and moan in pits
and grid, and pass around petitions to be signed after the fact. Wait until
the Mazda RX-7's with their obnoxious exhaust note have to run a maxed
out 302 powered, tube frame, fiberglass bodied kit car in AP. Boy - - will
there ever be grumbling in the pits then!!
