You pay both, and enter both seperately.

You need to buy tickets to the Wed. night banquet, Friday is included in
your entry. Don't lose your ticket!!! EVERYONE MAKE SURE THEY GIVE YOU
A TICKET AT REGISTRATION!! I was rudely denied entry to the awards
banquest last year by the security goons because registration did not
give me a dinner ticket. I went back to the hotel and brought my entire
bag of goods they gave me during registration, proving obviously that I
was an entrant, yet I was still denied. They would not let me contact
anyone inside the building either! Ironically, a fellow D Stocker
happened along and said, "Hey, they gave me 4 tickets, here ya go..."
Sorry, I still have a bad taste in my mouth over this. Make sure they
give you your ticket.
