Hey,

What's up with all the protests??!!?? I can't believe there is a protest
holding up
A Mod, that should be black or white, shouldn't it? So glad to see Bill
Goodale
back on top again!

Greg and Jodi Fordahl did a great job in AP, it was wide open as the Lotii
were not running for some reason. I hope they are OK on legality
with their 3.8 RSR (I am guessing that they were the ones protested).

Congrats to Rain Dancer Paul Kozlak in AS. But he proved that he
truly deserved the win with the best driving on Wednesday also.
Looks like the Z3 2.8 will be another in a long list of competitive AS cars
based
on the excellent times turned by Mark Sipe, Shauna, and T.C. Kline.
And Pat Salerno would have been right there if his Boxster engine did not
expire a week previous...

Scotty B. White had a heartbreaker in BSP!!! Was less than a tenth out
and would have won but for a cone (I know how that feels - happened to
me in '86! on both my 2nd and 3rd runs). Maybe next year he can pull it
off (if he can find the time between road races). What happened to Phast Phil
Curren? I've never seen him out of the top positions.

Nice job by Nick Leverone in SS!!! He had been driving SS on occasion, but in
a Vette I think. 2nd place (in Andy's car?) is awesome!!

I wish I could have gone and run AP, might have done OK. But I had
a great time racing on the track and streets (!) of Watkins Glen last week.
I will put up my story with pictures soon on my web site.
The previous weekend at Lime Rock (Dodge vintage festival) is up on my
web site already, the race will be broadcast on speedvision (Hi Matt!) on
Nov 26th.
