Why is the protestor named the "bad guy?"

It is the design of our soloing sport that to control the legality of
the cars that we have instigated the protesting process.

I know, I should not open thid can of worm, but why is it that so often
the person who does the protesting is tagged the bad guy??

If their protest wins they are the good guy, but if it loses they are a
sore loser???

OK, readers.....lets hear reactions to this opening?
