315s on a 9.5 suck, you have so much flex the 275 works better. If
you want 315s on the front use an 11" grandsport wheel.

I'm thinking of trying to run some bigger tires on our car (Hoosiers) and am
looking for some feedback

Will a 315 / 17 fit on a 9.5" rim & be under the front fender using a stock
rim? - I've seen a couple of cars pull this off, but was wondering if a 1/4"
was taken from the rim's hub. We have -.85 camber in the front. If it does
fit, how about tire rub on the hood of the car?

I'm sure a 335 will fit on a 17x11 inch rim and stay under the rear well
(seen this), but I'm concerned about the amount of squeeze for both front
and rear.

Any real gain here? or will the exaggerated sidewall pull be too much

thanks in advance
