hi folks,

Got a few things to unload, thanks in advance for the bandwidth.
For all parts, contact: sawyer@waterville.com or call 603-726-4747.

For sale: a set of 13"x7" ARE race wheels, 4x100mm bolt pattern, about 5"
of backspacing. 5-spoke wheels, only 9lbs each(!), with spun aluminum rim
halves with a welded/machined center. They fit well on civics, CRXs,
Integras and VWs. Perfect for autocrossing or track events. Mounted up with
(4) BFG R-1s (the older style) in 215/50/13 size. Enough life left on these
tires for another season of autocross. Also includes 2 freshly shaved R1s
in the same size. I used these for autocross only wheels, never on the
street, for the last couple seasons. In super-clean shape with no
dings/scars/bends. Tires and wheels were always stored in a warm indoor
area. These wheels are no longer available new from ARE. Nearly the same
weight as Keizers, etc., for a lot less! See them on a car here:
http://www.webcom.com/wv/crx/crximages/crxautox1.jpg and
http://www.webcom.com/wv/crx/crximages/crxautox2.jpg. They are drilled with
2 different bolt patterns, I believe the other is 4x108mm or 4x113mm. I
have the center caps as well (brand new, never used). Asking $600 for all 4
wheels, and the 6 R1s.

1995 VW 2.0L motor, complete. 55k miles on the motor, came from a running
car which had been rear-ended. Complete longblock, includes everything from
oil pan to throttlebody. crossflow head in great shape, perfect intake
manifold, distributor, waterpump, etc. Was going to convert it into my 90
Jetta but decided to get a 16v car instead. Asking $550. Located in
Merrimack NH, can assist with pickup/delivery.

4 Hoosier Autocrosser bias-ply tires, in 225/45/13" size. Used, but still
at least 1/2 their
life left. Super sticky and light (almost slicks), great for autox, or on a
really light car for track
duty. $100 for all 4 or B.O. Also, 4 Goodyear soft-compound slicks in
20x7x13" size.
Was going to use these for autocrossing but never got around to it. very
light, 8 lbs. each
tire. Used once for qualifying in a formula car, purchased from John Berget
tire at $35/ea.
Asking $75 for all 4.

For sale: VW race-prepped cylinder head and intake manifold, with cam. 8v
VW cylinder head, fresh from the machine shop, set up for digifant (but can
easily be converted to CIS). Big valves (40/33), 3-angle precision valve
job, all new guides and seals installed, tanked and cleaned, decked
10/1000's, all sharp edges in the combustion chamber were radiused to
prevent hotspots, full porting & polishing to intake and exhaust ports,
including Valve bowl area. Includes a full set of hydraulic lifters. This
is a fully prepped head perfect for street or race, and sure to make way
more power than stock. The head was built by a machinist who used to
specialize in building race motors, and was done to the highest standards.
Intake manifold is ported and polished to match the head, the exterior of
the top part of the manifold is poslished as well (looks great under the
hood). Cam included is a 270deg. Autotech cam, great for street or track,
more power than a 260 but not overly lopey. None of this has been
installed, it's fresh in the bag from the machine shop, never used. I was
going to build a killer 8v 2.0L motor for my 1990 Jetta, but got a deal I
can't pass up on a 16v car. Put these parts on a 2.0L block (I have one for
sale as well), combined with a good exhaust and you will easily be making
150-170hp(+). Asking $800 for the whole package: Head, cam, matched intake
manifold (the machine work alone cost nearly that much). Located in NH,
but can ship wherever.

Thanks,
