We still have several spots open for the Test & Tune. IMO, the Grissom
Aeroplex site is as close as you can get to duplicating the surface & bumps
at the upcoming Topeka Nationals event site. The attendance limit & cost is
the minimum required to cover site rental, insurance, and collateral cone
damage (that never happens :-). If you would like to attend this event
please reply for a confirmation.

On Thursday, Aug. 15 (preceding the Peru Pro Solo event) there will be a
private Test & Tune at the Grissom Aeroplex site. This event has an entry
limit of 35 drivers maximum. The gate opens at 9:00 AM and the Test & Tune
session runs from 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM, all times CST. Hoosier Tom / Mid
Atlantic Motorsports will be available for your tire & mounting needs. The
cost is $40/driver for as many runs as your tires can possibly stand. A
large display will show your time when exiting the finish area. All drivers
will have to perform a 1 hour work assignment; gate waivers, course worker,
course setup, & course teardown are the general work assignments available.
SPECIAL NOTICE:
Thursday, Aug. 15 is a private, limited-access event date. Access to the
Grissom Aeroplex site on this date is by invitation only. Test & Tune
attendees will be permitted to leave their equipment overnight for the Pro
Solo weekend. General public access for the SCCA Pro Solo event will not
begin until Friday, Aug. 16 (8:00 AM???). Anyone else attempting to access
the site prior to Friday will be asked to return at the proper time.
