Oh, I remember you and Donna now. I was taking tickets for practice starts
for the ProSolo Finale when both you and Donna were there. Whoever wasn't
running had tickets for the one who was. You both seemed very nice and I was
impressed by how well your car worked. Donna certainly did very well and I
would
say that in your case your investment paid off. I also think your car will
still be very
competitve again this year (sorry, I can't see any further into the future...).
 I think
the main point most people are making is that you paid more than most people are
willing to pay, but like I said before, in your case the investment paid off.
It doesn't
always work as well for everyone else and also there are many cases where people
do very well with much lower budgets. Myself, I think I averaged around $3K
for the
last couple of years, but that included maintance I had to do to keep the car
going and
competitive from year to year along with tires and what-not. Last year the
largest
part of my budget was what I had to pay my wife to get out of town for 3 to 5
days
at a time....This year I've already blown my budget as I'm already $40K + into
it
(bought a car and gear) and haven't seen the 1st event yet. I hope my returns
are
as good as yours.

Anyway, I wish both you and Donna good luck on the year. I think you will be
fine.
