Larry,
I have driven on Kumhos with the split for 1800 miles at 85 to 90
mph for 10 hours per day and have not had any problems.
Worry instead about breaking a rear spring bolt at the top of the
carousal ( turn 6 ) at Sears Point. The result feels much like a
flat tire.
