See the Solo II rules for allowable changes in Street Prepared. Since you
can remove the emissions systems, this would technically make it illegal to
drive on the street.

For race purposes only, as I understand it. Not street legal.

I have the same issue with another Mazda, an RX-7 GTUs, which came with 16"
wheels. I can run R-compound 225/50R16 or 205/55R16, street tires (in an
R-tire class), compete in Street Tire, compete in PAX, or move up to Street
Prepared. No special exceptions. You could have additional complications if
that model is produced in quantities less than 1,000.
