Paul,

I agree that it's oversimplifying things to say that course was all
about horsepower and nothing else.  Really, power was important but any
course with 3rd gear slaloms rewards transitional ability heavily.  A
big, heavy car that has to slow way down to go thru the slaloms is not
at an advantage no matter how much power it puts down.  The car that
Jeff and Paul were driving, despite a strong motor is still a heavy car
on stock shocks, and that probably showed.
