To amplify on Gary Fellers' request, the G-Cube is the accelerometers, Geez is
the analytical software, it records into a Palm or laptop but will only play
back on the laptop. Once you get it dialed in, which isn't trivial, it will
show you the course, but it doesn't know where the start and stop timers are
so you can't compare times between runs exactly. And it's difficult to
compare landmarks on the course plot to exact points, so timing yourself
through a "section" is problematical. I don't know how the new units like the
latest from G-Tech compare.

I thought that the G-Cube would record AND play back on the Palm, a'la the old
G-Analyst, but if you read their website VERY carefully you find out what I
did after buying it, that the Palm cannot display the data. Possibly would be
better for a road course with continuous lapping. Interesting tech but
without the laptop it's missing much of the value, and the laptop had better
be very carefully fastened in the car to pass inspection.
