"Killer", the formerly all-white '86 Civic Si of SFR note, has been returned
to its owner, unfortunately less wheels, tires, stereo (what kind of maroon
takes a stereo that clearly does not have a faceplate?), speakers, seats
(cheap replacements added with sheet metal screws) and air cleaner / intake.
Also pretty much missing the first-second synchro. Seems that years of
autocross isn't abuse compared with "drive it like you stole it".

And with some very questionable "racing stripes" and "custom paint" started.
It's really tough to figure out what or if someone was thinking, other than
stripping and selling the Rotas. With huge luck small claims court, against
the miscreant found driving it, will replace some small portion of what was
lost, as comprehensive was not in place on such an old vehicle. Too bad the
fun isn't insurable!

Terry, the current owner, is probably on the list by now but thanks all for
any good thoughts that they thunk. (In some states that is conjugated
"thunked".)
Message by proxy, Paul T.
