Since this was a practice round, no points were awarded. As a
result,, if you click on a link to points pages you will get a 404
"not found" error. So, please "Don't do that", especially if you
have any intention of complaining about it to me. This will all clear
up after Round 1.
Note that though the Street Tire class was run together as in Slush,
but beginning with Boondoggle each Stock Class will have its own
Street Tire class competing for their own trophy.
To prepare us all for that change, and to give some idea what that
will look like, the Street Tire entrants are posted in their separate
Stock Street Tire classes.
There were 3 SM-ST cars and 1 FSP-SM cars. None of them were in
the top half of Street Tire class. Since there will no
longer be a Street Tire class for them, they were merged into their
open classes. Interestingly, all of them finished higher in class than
they had in Street Tire class, some significantly higher, and perhaps even
showing potential trophy eligibility. Also, Stock Street Tire entrants in
many
cases would have finished near the top of their open classes had
they entered that way.
So anyway, this is what you will see this year for Street Tire classes.
