I'd be happy to. I won't buy one of the off the shelf units you can
get as RV distributors because that normally use a CRT which is too
large to a Bricklin.
I haven't decided on whether to go analog or digital. If I go analog,
I will probably get a small B&W or color CCD camera that you can find in
most surplus electronics catalogs and use an off the shelf LCD tv
receiver such as you get from Radio Shack.
If I go digital, which is my preference because you can display more
than just the camera feed, I'll use one of the inexpensive digital
cameras you can currently buy for your PC and make up a driver for a
small color LCD display.
The LCD displays are the most expensive items. A new 10" color display
complete with driver circuitry and backlighting and with reasonable
brightness is over $1,000. Small units are much less. The other
problems you have to watch out for with LCD's is they don't work below
32 degrees fahrenheit so you need an auxiliary heater in the cold but
the backlighting can get quite warm so you also need to provide cooling
when they are running.
I'll keep the list informed on what I do when I get around to that phase
of the reconstruction.
