Kim,
You can count me among the few hydraulics left. (Didn't I meet you at
Sunken Meadows L.I. in '95?). But I seldom go anywhere for general mechanic
work without staying and baby-sitting. I've also circumvented some of the
pitfalls of the hydraulic system with some additional electronics and newer
mechanicals(current sensing cutoffs, pressure relief valves, etc.)
Of the 50-60 cars that I've 'met' in the past few years, I think only 2
were hydraulic. So you may be right in concluding it is not worth
mentioning. But then again, the hydraulic system is where the potentially
serious damage to the car can occur ... ... :^|
