Well good news, bad news, and good news.

Progress continues slowly, having to do everything at least twice.

Good news.
 But now the radiator and shroud are in.  So I went looking for an upper 
radiator hose.  Armed with the part info. we have on the web page, I was able 
to cross reference the hose to a Dayco number.  However, none of the 
aftermarket auto store had it.  So to day I called on of the local fleet
supply houses that is a distributor for Dayco and was informed that they've
change to Gates.  So at lunch I went over and we managed to cross the Canadian
Gates to Dayco back to Gates and I got the hose.  It's a Gates 21953.

Bad news,
Yesterday I decided that I'd prime the oil system in the eng.  So I went to
remove the dist.  It wouldn't budge.  After spending about 1 hr trying to
free it, we managed to crack the housing.  Today I spent another 2 hrs plus
still trying to get it to move.  We finally got it to move and got it out.
It came out in 4 pieces!  Guess who needs a new distributor!

Good news.
Not me.  I have one.  I went out this evening and bought another one, $80.

So fellows, if you haven't tried to time your car lately, I suggest that
you do.  At least back off the clamping bolt and move the dist. around some.
Really I'd suggest that you pull it out, oil the O ring, and grease the seat.
If you're real lucky you won't have to go find another dist.
