Yeah, with the door up you can see where the mechanism is, it's a solenoid
pulling on a latch mechanism, with time and friction the mechanism needs a
little help, spray away with the "straw" on the WD-40 can. Won't hurt anything
should do you a lot of good, I did mine some months ago when I couldn't get out
the drivers door and had to use the emergency release...been perfect ever since.
