I was able to remove the bolts and remove the existing factory header. I had
presoaked with PB blaster, but after removing the bolts I noticed that it
never managed to penetrate to the bolt. Now I need to remove the down pipe so
I have room to feed the new header up from the bottom. I was able to remove
the bottom bolt on the muffler clamp. Is there a trick on how to remove the
top one? I can get a socket or wrench on it, but there is not more than a 1/4
inch to try to turn it. It may be loose enough with just the bottom one
removed.

I am also looking a tool or method to separate the rusted down pipe from the
rest of the exhaust system. Right now it is as good as welded. I know that I
will have to cut the down pipe at some point to attach to the collector of the
header, but I would prefer to not cut it until I have the header mounted.

Any suggestions appreciated.
