This isn't about a british car, but I had a Norton Commando MC once that
earned the name "Rozinante"

Why, you ask?

I read Don Quixote in high school. Rozinante was the name of his steed
(a plow horse of no particular distinction) which Don Quixote thought was
a gallant charger.

It seemed a good joke at the time except the group of people who have read
Don Quixote doesn't seem to overlap the group of people who ride Norton
Commandos. Hmmmm.... :-)

Obligatory BritCar stuff:
The Lotus? The Lotus is called "the Lotus" <or> "that godammed obstruction to
peaceful living".
