a friend of mine had the block freeze in a bugeye
Sprite here in sunny Palo Alto after not having
driven the carfor 36 hours! Fortunatly it poped a freeze
plug. (I had burst pipes that day and thus a white christmas.
 It was 25 deg F at noon that day in my driveway.)
If your not driving it, why not just drain it for a
few weeks til global warming returns?
