   *** Here's something I always carry around on long trips:

      A roll of soft iron wire.  It's a little smaller in diameter than coat
hanger wire, and much more pliable.  It's sold in construction supply places
for people to tie up rebar before pouring concrete over it.

      This stuff is great for tying up stuff that comes loose, like exhaust
systems.....
