Sure. I was a British-car-crazy kid. I saw lots of pictures, and even saw one
or two cars. In those days, you could import any car you liked, and some
people must have brought in Capris.

This styling cue is one of the main reasons I always thought this Capri looked
like an unsanforized Thunderbird. I wonder if the Ford guys did this on
purpose?
GM made the Opel GT look Vette-like, then challenged Opel to squeeze in the
parts to make it go.
