I just looked this up in Webster... Check it out, I think that jag wasn't meant to be an abbreviation for jaguar, it's a noun. 3. jag n [origin unknown] 1: a small load 2a: a state or feeling of exhilaration or intoxication usu. induced by liquor 2b: SPREE I think the definition fits...
