I just heard from a brit car mechanic friend that Vandervall was bought out
by a competitor whose name escapes me.  He said that there is speculation
that some of the Vandervall products not made by this competitor might
be dropped from production.  Spitfire cam bearings were an example of
one of these products.  Has anyone else heard this and have more details?
