Well, after several very frustrating weekends of getting nowhere on my running
rich problem, I broke down and took it in to get it fixed. Several days later,
with an MGB needle in the carb (1979 MG Midget Z-S CD150 carb), the car
actually runs quite well. I still suspect the camshaft as the problem but
I don't really have the time or the money to do anything about it now.
Maybe later. Just one thing that's a little strange - the car get lousy
gas mileage now. I used to get 30-35 mpg with mostly freeway driving and
I now seem to be getting something like 22-23 mpg. It seems to have plenty
of power, toque, etc. but it really sucks gas. Any ideas??
