source for VW parts, and since this place likes dealing with hack mechanics

I was helping a friend replace the rusted out front axle on his microbus.
I called these people and told them what I was doing, they said $300 +
shipping. I said "thanks, but that's way over our budget, I guess we can
weld it up and see how far that gets us". The guy (who I think runs the
place) said "hang on a sec, let me check something....(time passes) yeah,
we've got one here that's not pretty, but it'll work. $100, and I've got
a truck going out to springfield (ma) this weekend, I can toss it on the
back and you can drive out and pick it up, no shipping charge".
They carry everything VW and Audi, new and used, and are great to deal with.
