TR6 oil pressure gauge

Hey there...

As far as oil on the back of the dash goes, the oil pressure gauge is NOT
electric.  There is no sender like for fuel, temp, etc.  Instead, a little
flexible pipe comes out of the block and actually screws right into the back
of the gauge.  The actual oil exerting real oil pressure is then used to
deflect the needle via some curved tubes and such (like for an air pressure
gauge).

You could easily be leaking oil out there as it gets to upwards of 70psi.

I think my original car had a LEATHER (!!) washer between the pipe and gauge,
but I couldn't find such a beast anywhere, nor was it shown in any exploded
or parts diagrams, so I left it off when I replaced the oil tube and have
no leak problems without it.
