I am a recent subscriber to the sol list. Five years ago I
purchased my 1969 TR6 and have been slowly restoring it. The engine
and transmission I have completely rebuilt. I am now turning to
cosmetic and driveability concerns. I have two questions.
First, I bought a Robbins top and would like to install it
myself. I realize it may be tedious, but nevertheless I would like
to know if anyone could point me towards some good instructions (or any
instructions for that matter).
My second question I am posting for a freind who is also
rebuilding a 69 TR6. He is having trouble finding a new crankshaft
pulley/damper assembly. He needs the earlier pulley, the one with the
3/8 inch groove, and has exhausted all of the usual sources. I was
able to purchase one a couple years ago (from Brits and Pieces outside
of Toronto) so there are probably still some around??? Does anyone
know of a place he could get one?
