Now that brings back a memory. Years ago when I was a PSS (poor starving
student), my trusty transportation was a TR4. I had to work on it
every weekend to take me to school the next week. A lot of repairs
were repetitive, because I couldn't afford new parts and had to make
do with used or repaired parts; they would last a couple of weeks and
then break again. So much for the background. Anyway, I had
leaks in the lever shocks. Reasoning that thicker oil leaks out slower
than that thin stuff in there, I topped them off with STP.
This did two things: it slowed the leaks quite a bit, and made the dampers
_much_ stiffer :-)
