This car was taken from a garage in Shoreview, Minnesota on 8-4-93.
UPDATE: Car was located in the Minneapolis police impound lot. They have
had it since 8-5-93, the day after it was stolen. The Ramsey County
Sheriff's Department only found out about it this morning 8-13-93. The
metro area needs a better computer system if it took this long for
Minneapolis to figure out that they had a car that was wanted by Ramsey
County.
Glenn is having it towed to GT Cars today to check it out. The impound
guy told him on the phone that there is "minor body damage".
I figure it must have been parked pretty badly for the Minneapolis cops to
tow it so fast. They didn't notify Glenn, so maybe the plates were taken
off.
Thanks to you all for watching out for it. Glenn was considering buying a
Super Seven that has been restored and set up for autocrossing here and
never run. Owner wants 18K.
