I am coming to appreciate how these places that offer deep discounts on
many of their parts make a profit - they do it by grossly overcharging
on select items. I was recently looking for a 1/8 BSP to NPT adapter
(to fit the rear of a Smith's oil pressure gauge). Pegasus sells a kit
with two adapters for $10. MSC (and industrial supply) sells them for 50 cents
each.

But I digress. The stuff that Moss sells is NOT what you want. First,
it's way overpriced. Second, it has felt on one side, conveniently
located so it will absorb water and rust your floors.

Go to your local building supply - ask them for mylarized bubble pack
insulation. It's available under a number of trade names, Insolite is
one. I paid $2/ft off a 4 ft wide roll. I lined most of the interior of
the GT6+ with this stuff - under all the carpets, especially the tranny
cover carpet. Made a HUGE difference, as John Lye will attest. Driving
through the Cascades in 100+ degree weather, he was cooler in the GT
than I was in the TR with the top down!
