After a near death experiance with Castrol brake fluid splashed
on the paint, I now use silicone brake fluid in my 1948 Triumph
roadster. I would consider using it in any car not used in competion.

Does this mean you have both? I'd also be interested in a comparison, and
an owners report on the Sterling. Between being based on the Acura, and
the pullout of Rover sales and service, used Sterings are currently one of
the best priced modern luxury sedans around. There are some amazing deals
to be had on Sterlings, as most car dealers won't touch them due to lack
of support. I understand there were some problems with Rover based
electrics and assembly, especially on earlier cars. With a little care,
one ought to be every bit as reliable as an Accura, with that lovely
upgraded Rover interior- wood dash and leather seats.

If only they came in 4WD for climbing Ithaca's hills in winter...
