Spitfire - Spark Maker

I have a '67 Spitfire that has a Delco Remy distributor although everything
else electrical on the car appears to be Lucas. According to my Haynes
manual, all Spitfires up to the 1500 (ie Mk I, II, III and non-US IV's) 
had Delco Remy distributors. 

I have tried very hard to find a vacuum advance unit for this distributor 
and have failed. Does anyone know if there is a Lucas or other brand of
distributor that will fit early Spitfires? Maybe I would have better luck
finding parts.
