In response to several folks lament about 'flaky tach's' I'd
like to relate to the digest at large how the YELLOW BROS have cured
a number of flaky tachs by building from scratch a new and improved
instrument grounding harness. One car had been 'restored' and the harness
was gone altogether...regrounding the instrument cases cured a large
number of problems on that car (tach and fuel guage quit when headlights
are on!).
A side benefit may be brighter instrument lights and more accurate
electrical guages.
Remember, if its a Lucas, ALWAYS CHECK YOUR GROUNDS!
