I've got a 1977 Triumph Spitfire that I'm interested in selling. What I'd
like to know is approximately how much to ask for the car.

I'm the original owner. The car has just under 40,000 miles on it. (Yes,
you read that correctly.) I took delivery of the car in England, but it
was made for the US market (left-hand drive) and meets Federal emission
standards. It was driven around the continent for 3 months, then shipped
to No. California, where it has been ever since.

It has been driven regularly, mostly local driving. The body is in
excellent shape--no dents, no rust. Original paint job. The softtop
has lost its rear window, so I've got a removable hard-top for it.
The seats, carpeting are somewhat worn. Everything is original
on the car--I've replaced the brakes, clutch, fuel pump, and had the
carburetor rebuilt. The car has a 5th speed overdrive.

It is a trouble-free car, and runs quite well. I'm interested in
selling it only because we have 2 other cars, which we barely use
also.

Please email directly to me, as I'm not sure if I'm on this mailing
list. If you're interested in buying this car, I'd also like to hear
from you. If you want, you may call me at: 415 390 1727 or
415 961-0273.

Thanks.
