Thanks to all who replied! It's nice to be remembered.

Answers to questions:

1) I have no idea what he is worth and was hoping to get some hints from the
group. I think we paid $5000 -- a seemingly high price except that when we got
him he had a mere 17,000 miles upon the clock.

2) I'd be proud and happy to have any and all drop by for a drive/chat! We are
close to the intersection of Rt. 495 and the Mass Pike in Hopkinton.

3) Grandfather has always been garaged and the only blemishes upon him are the
ones of age (I have a few of those meself!) There was one appalling act of
vandalism -- some rogue stole his badge from atop the radiator grill. I'm sure
a jumble can restore that.

4) I'm as sad about giving him up as some of you expressed.... it would be good
to hang on and ride things out. But I don't realistically think Terry will
find work (at least not at the level she had) and we have to be practical. My
hope is that we'll be seeing a revitalized Brit Car industry and we might have
some choices in the future.

5) XJ? are right out! As are Aston's and most other cars suitable for someone
with limited mobility and unlimited resources.

If you getta bounce trying to reply, use cook@synetics.com in the To: and
you'll surely get us. Thanks.
