A composite GIF of 4 photos of the recently overdiscussed Harrington
Alpine is available at the SOL ftp site triumph.cs.utah.edu as
/pub/sol/Images/Harrington_Alpine4.gif. Sorry about the greyscale,
that's what is in the book I scanned ("Tiger: The Making of a Sports
Car" by Mike Taylor).

The upper left photo shows the original Harrington Alpine. Note the
fixed rear windscreen, the small bootlid, and the tailfins.

The lower left photo shows a Harrington Alpine running at the 1961
LeMans. Note the flared-in headlights, giving a Ferrari-esque look.
(Production Harringtons had the standard Alpine headlights.)

The upper right photo is the Harrington Alpine LeMans, which debuted
in 1962. Note the different rear end, and the hatchback. The
special LeMans badging is unfortunately not discernable.

The lower right photo is a prototype "type C" Harrington Alpine that
never went into production. It had the tailfins of the earlier
Harrington, but the hatchback of the LeMans model.

This GIF is also available by e-mail from server@ingr.com as
./pub2/sol/pics/htn_alpin4.gif. Intergraph employees may access it
via NFS at alpine.b17a.ingr.com:/usr/pics/britcars/htn_alpin4.gif.
