Hi folks,

I can report 2 rollovers from friends.

1. The former Praesient of the Spitfire Club in Germany.

After getting a flat tire he left the Autobahn with something like 160 Kmh (100
mph). The car went out with the back first ... so the windsscreen was bended to
an almost upright position. Additionally he put his head into the passenger
side ... so he was only injured by the acid comming from the batterie ...

So here it worked as a rollbar.

2. Another member of the German Club.

He was hit by a very fast Porsche (going 250 Kmh). The Porsche tried to pull
over to the break down lane when a slow Mercedes Diesel suddenly blocked his
lane to pass a 80kmh truck with 100kmh ...

The Spitfire was hit so hard that the rear was shortend to a couple of inches
and the spitfire was bounced off the Autobahn. Here the frame was folded in on
itsself.

Nevertheless the two people in the Spitfire took only minor head injuries,
mostly just skin. But spent almost 2 months in hospitals till they fully
recovered.

  Tom

Ps.: Update on my STAG.

The oilpump had taken severe damage ... I installed a new one ... but no affect
to the oil pressure ... kmmm ???
