RE: MGB emission levels

Someone asked about the emission levels for a MGB.  I have a 77 MGB and I 
live in the Chicago area.  The maximum levels for HC=700 and CO=7%.  My MGB 
tests around 300 HC and 6.5% CO without a catalytic convertor or air pump.  
Also, I have an aftermarket Weber and headers.
