Wouldn't you know. The July issue of ACtion (ACOC newsletter) contained
the AC 428 Frua Register. 80 cars are listed, 9 of the existing cars
are known to be in the US, 4 in Oregon (including the two belonging to
Jim Feldman) and one in Washington state, so ownership is pretty much
concentrated in the northwest for some reason; perhaps due to the
proximity of Feldman who owns an AC restoration shop in Portland.
Interestingly, a number of cars have been converted to Cobra replicas.
The editor of ACtion must be reading the british-cars list because not
only did the newsletter include the AC 428 Register but right there on
page 2 was the address of the the Bentley Drivers club. Turns out the
BDC and ACOC participate in a lot of activities together in the UK.
